This is what I have been reading in Gym.
I really hate hospitals. Actually I'm fine with hospitals, but the waiting rooms suck. Also, all little children should have either a mute button or amazingly adorable eyes such as this boy. I also hate hospital gowns, I think Gareth Pugh should design them and that will make me actually like to walk around with half my ass showing hospitals. At least it'll be fashion.
Moving away from that really...demode image (sorry dudes) I bought myself a pretty thing for the holidays. It's glittery and shiny and big. I like it.

Ooh, pretty pictures. Hospital gowns do suck--a Gareth Pugh hospital gown would be amazing...and expensive. That little boy is ridiculously cute.
That little boy might be the cutest thing i've ever seen.
and what is that title of that book, the pictures are lovely.
didn't marc jacobs do the nurse's uniform without a back?
I agree with the mute button - can it apply at social security offices, the DMV and anywhere else with a waiting room too?
I'm going into hospital tonight for surgery tomorrow. Very much not looking forward to the hospital gown.
it's vogue fashion: 100 years of designers and style (or something along those lines)
did he? i totally forgot.
shannon: *tackleglomp* i hope all is well! or will be soon. ;)
Hi Arabelle, it's Reese <3
That book has been on my To Buy Before Christmas list. Hopefully this week I'll be able to get my hands on it. Initially I had been very confused as to which stuff I'll buy first on that list (I have to prioritize, limited money T.T) and I guess your blog entry is the sort of "enlightenment" that I needed :) Hope to hear from you soon! <333
i had this book from two years ago, and its one of my treasures!
its soooo expensive here, so i had to go on the battle with 4863218 people at the bookstore discount one sunday to get it!
Boo on hospitals. Everytime i have to go there, it's usually because something terrible has happened (usually to someone else).
I REALLY love these inspirations ; where did you take the photos from ???
a bientot !
Bouchra
Very structural pieces, I like it.
Hospitals rather scare me, especially when they stick you with 12 stitches without really having the numbing stuff work.
Is this trip to the hospital because of your last hospital travels? I bet you were the most stylish person there. Of course, who could compete with those backless robes? Not I, not i.
There is an alternative to those awful, humiliating, obnoxious hospital gowns. Check out the website of the Original Healing Threads, www.healingthreads.com. I wear their elegant to all my doc appts. Started by sisters after experience with cancer treatments.
make friends with youngish residents at the hospital. give them big eyeballs and batty lashes and sad, sick faces and you can usually score some scrubs. they aren't anymore stylish, but they do take care off the ass hanging out aspect.
Hospitals smell. Ew.
I saw you in french Glamour magazine & I love your style. Bye.
Oh my god there is a dedication to my aunt in the front of that book!! Emily Wheeler Bennett...look it up! I'm so excited I love that book...
best book. I've read parts of it about a bazillion times. or maybe that was just looking at the pictures..
I refuse to go to hospital to avoid those awkward gowns. A yohji yamamoto design would be heaven. Pretty Pictures
OMG! I received the same book for christmas this year(2009).I've been reading it over and over again! It's my newest obsession.
