Moo

I'm doing this blog thing all on my own -- no agent, no manager.... sometimes it is really aggravating and weird and I don't know what I'm doing but I also really like being in charge of everything. During fashion week it can be a bit hellish (let it be known I do have to ask for help and thank god for editors who do the dirty work!!) but other than that I'm really low key about business and blogging. I'm not doing this for a career, just for my own enjoyment and to reach people I care about, and whenever I feel like it's more about CA$H than genuine enjoyment I step back.

But there are some things I can't compromise on even when I want to be low key about blogging -- I definitely need business cards. Not only for this blog, but for my makeup blog, and for the events I attend. Networking, even if I'm not businessy, is so important when I want to keep in touch with cool people I've met through blogging. So I'm really happy that Moo contacted me about sponsoring me some cards. I had a look around the site and saw they sold stickers, too, and I'm really happy with them!

I got some stickers because I'm narcissistic and want to surround myself with not only pretty things (including my own face, hohoho) but reminders of things I care about. So Jenny Holzer & calloutqueen axioms and Frida and me, so I can plaster the alleyways and hallways and telephone poles and lockers with things that are important and pretty.

Got some Rookie stickers of my favorite photoshoot, heheheheh. Petra took the photos.

And finally the business cards! They came in such a lovely box & such a nice cardstock (they were the Luxe ones). I love considerate packaging.

Some readers knew that I was going to make stickers of my face (lol) and asked if I would be selling them. Sure, I guess, if you'd like! BTW, MOO didn't ask for me to post about these, but I've been fans of their products for several years (I've purchased business cards from them before & recommend them to everyone who asks!) and thought it'd be nice.
